Survey Spree by Opinion Place – Is it Legitimate or a Scam?

Hey everyone I hope you had a good week. It is April 29 2011, which marks  a VERY special day.  As of today Prince William and Kate Middleton had become husband and wife! (Hurray!) I’m not sure if you watched the royal wedding early this morning, but I watched it live, and it was amazingly beautiful. It was everything I’ve imagined a royal wedding to be, and much more.  I hope  the very best for the both of them.  While this is a royal day, it is  also the day where you get a new opportunity to make more easy money!  In this update I will be introducing a very new survey panel, called SurveySpree by Opinion Place.  Those who are already members of Opinion Place surveys would know of this by now, but those who doesn’t all will be explained to you in this post:

SurveySpree  is a online survey panel that was introduced on March of this year. It is a branch of Opinion Place surveys. Founded by DMS Insights, a uSamp company, who works with different companies that manufactures products and services me and you use everyday.  They focuses their work on forming survey studies to gather our opinions which influences the future of newly developed products.

Signing up for SurveySpree by Opinion Place is easy, and FREE! Once you’ve confirmed your membership, you’re sent to the dashboard where you fill out ‘survey profiles’  The profiles contains questionnaires pertaining to you concerning topics such as interests, technology, lifestyle, automobile, and much more. This is so that you can receive surveys that interest you.   Now unlike a lot of typical paid surveys, where you just fill out profiles and wait for invites to survey studies to arrive at your inbox,  you actually earn money by filling out these profiles!

After the profiles are complete and you’re full member of SurveySpree, you’re almost immediately sent invites to participate in their surveys.  It takes a short time to complete them which is about 10 to 20 minutes.  The topics that’s focused in these studies includes, but not limited to: entertainment, sports, shopping, and new products. When you complete the surveys, you’re rewarded with cash, and entries to win prizes.  You’re paid through various rewards such as paypal, amazon gift cards, magazines to name a few.  Minimum payout is $10.

- Is SurveySpree by Opinion Place a scam?

I can honestly say that SurveySpree is definitely NOT a scam!  When I signed up for this website I was given $5 credit.  From there I earned a few dollars from completing my  survey profiles.  The surveys are quite fun, and usually i earned a couple dollars per survey. I haven’t reached the payout minimum yet but when  I do I will add it to my future ‘Total Earnings’ update post. I recommend everyone to try out this site!

*UPDATE* May 21 2012:

Hey everyone I wanted to give an update on SurveySpree.com.  I meant to write this up for a while but due to alot of things. (having to go away from time to time, College,  migrating the blog, etc.) I  didn’t get around to write this up till now.  I’ve been participating in SurveySpree for a while and here is a review update based on my experience…

I’m still standing on my word that SurveySpree is legit as I have gotten paid by them. I plan on posting up a payment proof of it sometime this week.  Now while this site is legitimate it’ is not perfect. Like any Paid Survey sites there are cons as well.  While they send many surveys some of them are quite difficult to qualify which can be quite annoying at times.  With this it takes time to reach the pay out limit.   Another con is that whenever you do special surveys (Like focus groups for example) it could take awhile for you to receive your credit.

Now I’m not saying you should not give SurveySpree a try. Despite of it downfalls it’s still a fair website to join.  However I recommend using this site along with other Paid Survey sites. :)

SurveySpree is a TOTAL Scam! I was a member with the original company a while back. It was legit. The new company is NOT! I have taken quite a few surveys. Usually about 5-7 minutes into the survey it says I don't qualify. Before they would tell you much sooner. I was told I needed $10 in credit before I could cash out to PayPal. Now it says it's $25. I should be at $10 the minimum to cash out for something else but it has held the last $2 survey for over a week now. I have e-mailed them 2 times about & have gotten totally random answers not pertaining to my questions. I don't think they will even let me go over the $10 limit to cash out. I think the site is a scam & it is not worth the 6 months I have wasted even if I do get my $10 credit for the probably 25-30 surveys I have taken or attempted to take. DON't WASTE YOUR TIME!

Thank you for commenting Stevauto. I'm terribly sorry that you've had such a bad experience with SurveySpree =( I haven't been taking their surveys often due to paying more attention to other surveys as well as other things. I have noticed that they are becoming fewer in numbers and harder to qualify for, but I haven't given up yet. I'm currently trying to reach to the $25 limit since that's where the paypal and amazon rewards are located. I'm going to keep what you've said in mind though. Thanks again!

  3. naturally like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the truth however I’ll surely come again again.

      Hi Work at Home Jobs,

Thank you for your comment. I apologize for my spelling issues in some places. I’m very aware that my spelling is not perfect, but I am working on it little by little. Thank you for pointing it out for me as it will help better my writing. =)

  4. Thanks , I’ve recently been looking for information about this topic for a while and yours is the greatest I have found out till now. But, what concerning the bottom line? Are you certain concerning the source?

    • Ari says:

Thank you for commenting! About your question, when you ask if I’m certain about the source do you mean if I’m certain if Survey Spree is legitimate? If so then yes I’m very certain. A little while ago I was paid by Survey Spree but I never got around to post a payment proof of it on here. I plan on putting it up soon though :)
